Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

Israeli Soldiers Hand 7 Palestinians Demolition Notices near town of Tulkarem

TULKAREM,(WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Thursday handed seven Palestinians from Ezbet Shofeh, a village southeast of Tulkarem, demolition notices for their houses, according to a witness.

Witnesses told WAFA that Israeli soldiers raided the village and handed Palestinians demolition notices and that the residents must be out of the houses in one week or else the owners will have to pay for the demolition expenses.

Witnesses added that another three Palestinians were handed demolition notices three months ago, despite having the required legal documents to indicate ownership.
